Nordic ranked #1 nationally in KLAS report of Epic service providers

MADISON, Wis. — Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc. was ranked #1 in Epic Staffing and Implementation
Support in the newly published KLAS Report Navigating the Sea of Epic Consulting, issued this month.
KLAS provides impartial ratings of healthcare technology to help providers make informed decisions.

According to report author Lorin Bird, Nordic was the top-rated firm among companies in the
Staffing and Implementation Support category. Summarizing his research, Bird says of Nordic, “A
growing Epic-only firm with highly knowledgeable consultants—many of whom are former Epic
employees. Customers praise [their] flexibility and ability to stay on budget.”

“This is a testament to the high quality and hard work of our consultants, as well as the strong
partnerships we have created with our clients across the country” said Nordic Consulting President Drew
Madden. “We have been intentional about recruiting and hiring only the best Epic consultants in the
industry and we’re thrilled to see our focus on quality reflected in our clients’ feedback.”

This is the first KLAS report published focusing specifically on companies that provide Epic
consulting services. For the study, KLAS researchers conducted 333 surveys from 130 organizations
covering 26 consulting firms that were involved in three or more Epic consulting engagements. A total of
46 companies were included in the research.

Nordic, founded in January 2010, employs 130 Epic-certified consultants, and is the largest Epic-
only consulting firm in the industry. Serving 36 clients in 20 states, Nordic consultants have an average of
nine years EMR experience and four certifications each. Prior to joining Nordic, 66% of consultants
worked at Epic Systems, Inc., and 34% worked in a clinical and/or IT setting.
