Nordic Consulting announces growth capital investment

Madison, Wis. — Nordic Consulting is pleased to announce it has finalized a growth capital investment with three healthcare-focused investment firms: SV Life Sciences, Health Enterprise Partners and HLM Venture Partners. This relationship will fuel Nordic’s continued growth to meet the needs of customers in a rapidly expanding Epic EMR Consulting market.

“We’re excited to collaborate with strategic partners who are equally focused on creating success for the healthcare industry, and who recognize the value Nordic brings to the sector.” says Mark Bakken, CEO. “This relationship is beneficial to both our clients and our employees, ensuring that we have the financial resources, experience and network to execute our vision of providing the industry’s highest-quality Epic consulting services.”

Nordic operations will continue with minimal change after the investment. All Nordic management and staff will retain their positions, and current employees who are Nordic shareholders will remain invested in the business.

“Our growth and success have been byproducts of the strong relationships we have established with our consultants and our clients,” says Drew Madden, President. “We are confident this opportunity will maintain the values and culture that have made Nordic successful and open new doors for future partnerships.”

Nordic’s mission remains the same: to develop strong partnerships with customers and consultants. Nordic is committed to delivering the industry’s best Epic implementation services, and this partnership will further that objective.

Nordic Consulting, founded in January 2010, is based in Madison, Wis., and focuses exclusively on Epic software implementations, upgrades, and optimization.
