Nordic again named one of Madison Magazine’s Best Places to Work

MADISON, Wis. – For the second consecutive year, Nordic has been recognized by Madison Magazine as one of the Best Places to Work in the Madison area. Nordic is ranked No. 2 in the large size workplace category, which includes companies with more than 100 employees. In 2016, Nordic was ranked No. 3 in the same category. The list, which was released Thursday, is featured in the magazine’s October issue.

This honor comes a couple months after Nordic expanded its Madison office by 6,000 square feet to create more space for its growing Managed Services division and Data & Analytics business line.

“We’re honored to be named a great place to work once again,” President of Managed Services Vivek Swaminathan said. “Our culture and team are crucial to everything we do, so I’m proud that we’ve been able to maintain our culture and that small business feel as we’ve continued to grow.”

The rankings are based on a 60-question survey taken by employees at all participating companies. The survey measures six key categories of engagement: communication and resources, individual needs, manager effectiveness, personal engagement, team dynamics, and trust in leadership.

In addition to this latest honor, this year Nordic has earned a spot on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces list and won a Bubbler Award, recognizing the top 10 best places to work for young professionals in Wisconsin. Nationally, Nordic has been honored by Modern Healthcare as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare in each of the past four years and Becker’s Healthcare as one of the 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare each of the past two years. Earlier this year, Inc. Magazine also named Nordic one of the top 50 Best Workplaces in the nation for 2017.
