MADISON, Wis. – Nordic is proud to announce that it has been named an American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get With The Guidelines® compatible vendor.
Get With The Guidelines is an in-hospital program for improving care by promoting consistent adherence to the latest scientific treatment guidelines. Numerous published studies demonstrate the program’s success in achieving measurable patient outcome improvements. The Association’s Get With The Guidelines suite includes programs for stroke, heart failure, resuscitation, atrial fibrillation (AFib), and coronary artery disease.
Nordic has partnered with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to optimize stroke data collection in Epic’s EHR at multiple hospitals, allowing for automated data population into the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke program.
Get With The Guidelines–Stroke was developed by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to help healthcare professionals align stroke care with the most up-to-date scientific treatment guidelines. Stroke treatment guidelines include aggressive therapies and medications that can help improve patient care and outcomes.
