Nordic outgrows office space, moving to new corporate headquarters in Madison

MADISON, Wis. – As Nordic continues to grow to meet the demands of healthcare organizations to provide improved patient care at a lower cost, it has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters to a larger office space in Madison later this year. Nordic’s current offices are located at 740 Regent Street and will move to Arbor Gate at 2601 West Beltline Highway this fall.

When Nordic moves into the new location, it will accommodate roughly 350 employees, a large portion of which will be Managed Services team members, with the opportunity to expand further in the coming months and years. At Arbor Gate, Nordic will occupy more than 50,000 square feet of office space, nearly doubling the size of Nordic’s current location.

New-Office-for-press-releaseOne key driver for expansion has been the success of Nordic’s Managed Services division, which features Nordic’s industry-leading consultants providing expert application managed services (AMS) to healthcare organizations, freeing them up for more strategic work. Over the past year, Nordic’s Managed Services team has more than doubled, growing to over 180 members, with roughly half of the team located in the Madison office. Managed Services anticipates continued growth in 2019.

Nordic moved into its Regent Street offices in 2014 with enough space to initially accommodate 65 employees. Including Managed Services, it will likely surpass 200 team members at that location by the end of the year. While expanding its presence in its current building over the past five years, Nordic has managed to obtain access to various parking lots across the neighborhood to allot for employee parking. The new facility will provide enough spaces in an adjacent parking ramp to accommodate all Nordic employees at the building.

“We’re happy that we have an opportunity to stay in Madison and move into a space that helps us better support our clients and team members,” VP of Human Resources Vicki Ryan said. “Collaboration and teamwork have always been an important part of our culture, and we believe our physical office space needs to support this by keeping our teams under one roof.”

Founded in 2010, Nordic has been at its current location since early 2014 and has grown to over 1,000 employees across the United States and Canada.
