Nordic launches Strategic Affiliate Management training program

An increasing number of health systems are involved in mergers and acquisitions as well as extending Epic to smaller, independent partners. As a result, extending Epic is a high priority for IT departments and an area where Nordic continues to see growth. With this in mind, we've launched the Nordic Strategic Affiliate Management training program. Nordic already has over 150 consultants with experience extending Epic to owned and independent groups. This internal training program helps to grow our Affiliate Solutions project managers and develop additional project managers to serve the needs of our clients.

In the program, consultants learn Nordic's seven-step methodology, which takes clients through strategy, planning, and deployment of extension projects. 

"Nordic is unique because a lot of organizations will focus specifically on the deployment piece of affiliate rollouts," Nordic VP of Affiliate Solutions Abby Polich said. "They'll focus on the build, the testing, the training, and bringing the sites live. That's extremely important, but before we get to that deployment piece, we have to focus on strategy and planning. That's what our seven-step methodology takes our clients through."
