3. OUR RISK AND COMPLIANCE

As a provider of professional consulting services, we do not have a long or complex supply chain. Our main suppliers are providers of office supplies, IT services and equipment, facilities management and niche consultancy services. The majority of our supply chain are based in the countries in which our offices are based.

We consider that the risk of modern slavery within our organisation and our supply chain is a low risk due to operating in the professional consulting services sector and the countries in which our businesses are based. However, we are not complacent about the risk of modern slavery - we are committed to ensuring modern slavery does not occur within both our business and our supply chain.

4. ABOUT OUR POLICIES

Tasman believes that combating modern slavery and working ethically is important. We therefore have the following principles in place to support this:

  • Equal Employment Opportunities;
  • Affirmative Action;
  • Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment;
  • Workplace Violence;
  • Anti-Retaliation;
  • No forced labour is used;
  • We ensure all employees are eligible to work via independent pre-employment verification;
  • We are committed to paying the Living Wage (which is above the UK Government determined minimum wage) to our people;
  • All our employees are consulted and supported to share their views on our policies, procedures and working practices;
  • We provide a safe working environment for all our employees; and
  • We have a whistleblowing procedure in place.

We also strive to partner with suppliers that adhere to similar principles.

5. FURTHER ACTIONS AND SIGN OFF

Following Nordic Global’s review of our actions this financial year to prevent slavery or human trafficking from occurring in our business or supply chains, we intend to take the following further steps to tackle slavery and human trafficking: (i) communicating our statement to employees and suppliers and (ii) keeping the statement under yearly review.
