Terri LeFort - 2022

Terri LeFort

President, Nordic International

Terri LeFort joined Nordic in 2019, when it acquired Healthtech Consultants. After continuing to serve as president of Healthtech for three additional years, in 2022 Terri took on an expanded role as Nordic’s president and senior executive, International. In this role, the 30-year healthcare veteran sets policy and strategic direction for Nordic’s international markets, ensuring close coordination with the U.S. and fulfilling the company’s mission and financial targets internationally. She also ensures integration and standardization across the geographies, bolstering Nordic’s efforts as a global leader that addresses the local needs of regional geographies.

Prior to joining Nordic, Terri led Healthtech for 20 years, guiding healthcare organizations through successful patient safety and clinician adoption initiatives. She has significant experience in clinical systems assessment, planning, and implementation, along with CPOE and electronic medication management. She also boasts decades of clinical practice, both on the front lines and in management, has spoken internationally on electronic clinical documentation best practices, and is an industry leader in advanced clinical system planning and implementation.

Kieran Hughes

Executive VP and President, Europe and Middle East

Kieran joined Nordic in 2022 as an executive vice president and president of Nordic’s European and Middle Eastern markets. He is a member of Nordic’s senior leadership team and is accountable for the strategy, performance, and operations of these regions. In his role, he is focused on developing and growing new and existing client relationships, accounts, and revenue across all Nordic business lines.

Before joining Nordic, Kieran spent several years working for healthcare consulting, innovation, and technology services firms, where he defined and executed international M&A and growth strategies as well as new commercial strategies. He is a board-level executive with a proven track record of scaling HIT services businesses and has 10 years of commercial leadership, sales, strategy, and product launch experience focusing on software and services. His previous consulting clients include Governments, National Agencies and Healthcare Provider organizations throughout Europe and the Middle East.

He is based in the UK.

Samara Lattimer

Client Partner

Samara is a dedicated client partner for Nordic in the UK. She has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare technology and is a trusted advisor and relationship-focused leader to Nordic’s customers.

As a client partner, Samara supports both clinical and digital healthcare leaders to understand their digital ambitions and helps devise delivery plans to ensure the successful implementation and optimisation of these projects. She is innovative and creative in her approach and adopts a customer-first mindset.

Samara leads Nordic’s NHS services and solutions. She has a wealth of experience working with providers on digitally enabled transformation programmes, including the largest electronic patient record (EPR) implementations in the NHS and Northern Ireland.

Samara’s previous experience also includes the development of Northamptonshire’s Local Digital Roadmap and a talent management IT system for the NHS Leadership Academy. This means she is well placed to advise organisations on the delivery of key national initiatives, such as the NHS’ Frontline Digitisation programme.

Samara has a BA (Hons) Geography from the University of Leicester and is based in Birmingham, UK.

Guillermo Garcia Nelen

Director of Finance, International

Guillermo serves as the director of finance supporting international leadership in Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. He joined Nordic in 2020, when it acquired international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global and continued on in his role as director of finance. He uses his background in finance to create insights for leadership, analyze risks and identify opportunities. In addition, he supports investment and expansion decisions for the group.

He lives in the U.K. and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Groningen University in The Netherlands.

Jeroen Kolen

Regional Director for Continental Europe

Jeroen started his career in healthcare IT in 2012, working with Epic on its first university hospital implementation outside the U.S. While at Epic’s Dutch subsidiary in Den Bosch, he was an instrumental part in Epic’s international expansion into the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and the U.K., serving as application manager, team lead implementation services, and executive account manager.

In 2019, he continued his career in the information security industry, overseeing multiple software implementations simultaneously while actively contributing to product and service development, scalability, and the internationalization of a Dutch scale-up company.

Jeroen joined Nordic in 2021 after its acquisition of international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global. As regional director for continental Europe, he leverages his EHR experience, understanding of the market’s healthcare landscape, and account manager expertise to create and grow exceptional relationships with client stakeholders and expand service offerings.

He has a Bachelor of Economics in Sports Marketing from Fontys Economische Hogeschool in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

Alison MacDonald

Vice President & Lead, International Implementation

Alison is a nurse with 20 years of leadership experience in informatics and clinical practice in the community, acute and tertiary care settings. She is an expert in guiding clinical transformation enabled by digital health technologies in various types of international health care organizations. She leverages a vendor-agnostic approach to enabling organizations to elevate their experience with EHR and digital health technology implementation.

 

As a Prosci-certified change management professional, Alison is a skilled executive leader facilitating change in organizations to support successful adoption and implementation of large-scale health information systems. She is focused on leveraging technology to enable leading clinical practice, improve efficiency in health care systems and improve patient outcomes.  

 

Prior to joining the Nordic team, Alison worked more than nine years with Healthtech Consultants, a Nordic Global Company, serving in increasingly senior roles advising clients on clinical information system implementation and support projects.

 

Alison holds a BNSc in Nursing from Queen’s University and a Master of Nursing, Administration and Informatics from University of Toronto.

Annelot Nieuwenhuis

Director – Implementation and Support

Annelot began her career in Epic’s Implementation Services division, eventually relocating to the Epic Bristol, U.K., office to support its growing international client base. After supporting U.S.- EU- and U.K.-based Epic clients, she continued her career in healthcare IT at North Bristol NHS Trust as a senior project manager, leading its digital transformation team through the implementation of a new EHR (System C/CareFlow) and rapid deployment of several mobile applications in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

She joined Nordic in 2020, when it acquired international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global. As director of implementation and support, Annelot leverages her international EPR implementation, NHS experience, and her Dutch language skills to support the strategy and direction of Nordic Europe’s Implementation and Support business line. In this role, she oversees placement and management of Nordic resources, monitors utilisation rates, and ensures successful project delivery, serving as the key business line liaison to client counterparts, NEU consultants, and prospective talent. Most recently, she also supported the implementation and go-live of Ziekenhuis Amstelland’s Epic instance through her work with Amsterdam University Medical Centre – the first “Community Connect” Epic implementation in Europe.

Annelot grew up in the Netherlands and moved to the U.S. with her family when she was 12 years old. She lives in the U.K. and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Economics from Binghamton University in New York.
