UK NHS Healthcare Advisory Services Leader, Europe
Nene has nearly two decades of experience in healthcare across several sectors and boasts an extensive record of delivering complex projects for clients, including strategy development and implementation, and financial and operational turnaround.
He is the UK NHS Healthcare Advisory Services leader for Nordic’s team in Europe, which offers a range of advisory and IT implementation solutions for global clients, including advice and counsel related to digital health systems implementation benefits realisation; clinical, operational, and financial performance optimisation; and health systems integration and sustainability. He has a particular focus on financial and operational turnaround, financial management, strategy development, and operating model design.
Nene served as the UK&I NHS Advisory lead for international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global, which Nordic acquired in 2020. Prior to that, he was head of strategy for Supply Chain Coordination Limited, a company set up to procure and manage all the medical consumables and devices for NHS hospitals in the UK, where he was responsible for developing and delivering its corporate strategic projects. He also worked at EY for four years, where he led several strategy and large-scale business transformation and optimisation projects for NHS clients, including strategy development, financial modeling, financial due diligence, operating model development, and organisational design. He began his career as an NHS Graduate Finance Trainee, and held increasingly senior financial roles in the NHS, including assistant director of Finance for a London Acute Trust.
He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is a CIMA-qualified accountant.
