Nene Antonio

UK NHS Healthcare Advisory Services Leader, Europe

Nene has nearly two decades of experience in healthcare across several sectors and boasts an extensive record of delivering complex projects for clients, including strategy development and implementation, and financial and operational turnaround.

He is the UK NHS Healthcare Advisory Services leader for Nordic’s team in Europe, which offers a range of advisory and IT implementation solutions for global clients, including advice and counsel related to digital health systems implementation benefits realisation; clinical, operational, and financial performance optimisation; and health systems integration and sustainability. He has a particular focus on financial and operational turnaround, financial management, strategy development, and operating model design.

Nene served as the UK&I NHS Advisory lead for international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global, which Nordic acquired in 2020. Prior to that, he was head of strategy for Supply Chain Coordination Limited, a company set up to procure and manage all the medical consumables and devices for NHS hospitals in the UK, where he was responsible for developing and delivering its corporate strategic projects. He also worked at EY for four years, where he led several strategy and large-scale business transformation and optimisation projects for NHS clients, including strategy development, financial modeling, financial due diligence, operating model development, and organisational design. He began his career ​​as an NHS Graduate Finance Trainee, and held increasingly senior financial roles in the NHS, including assistant director of Finance for a London Acute Trust.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is a CIMA-qualified accountant.


Eliza Corrigan

Head of Client Services, Europe and Middle East

For the past 15 years, Eliza has helped healthcare organisations and those they serve from technical EHR configuration and implementation project management to account management, executive support, and sales leadership within the consulting industry. She thrives on establishing and growing lifelong client partnerships, qualifying and developing customized solutions for complex challenges, and leading cross-functional teams.

Eliza began her career in Implementation Services at Epic in 2007. She then worked in the non-profit sector for several years before returning to healthcare IT as an Epic consultant in 2011. In 2014, Eliza became an account executive with Nordic, serving healthcare organisations throughout the western and southern U.S. by providing focused client engagement – including executive support for new strategic accounts – new service lines, and improved service delivery.

Eliza was head of Client Services for international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global, which Nordic acquired in 2020. As head of Client Services for Europe and the Middle East, she leverages her EHR experience, understanding of the global healthcare landscape, account management expertise, and sales knowledge to grow business and expand service offerings.

Eliza has a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

Jeff Flatland

President, Europe

Jeff Flatland is an entrepreneur with a background in marketing and business administration and was the founder and chief financial officer of international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global, which Nordic acquired in 2020. He now serves as president for Europe, where he builds a world-class team of health and technology experts and makes Nordic a great place to work. He is obsessed with learning about his client’s needs and pain-points, while leveraging technology to develop innovative solutions delivered with a local perspective.

While building Tasman, Jeff created and oversaw many of the administrative functions of the company, focused on the complex interplay of international finance, legal, and immigration compliance. At the time of its acquisition, Tasman had clients and employees spread across eight countries and three continents. 

After a marketing internship with Universal Studios, he began his career in sports and entertainment marketing with Interstate Promotions Inc. Serving in sales and marketing roles, he forged partnerships with the biggest sporting leagues in the world, crafting innovative promotional marketing events and opportunities for retailers across the United States. He was eventually promoted to president, guiding the company through its acquisition. Jeff also founded MyFund in 2012, a financial technology application that helped pioneer the development of retail investing, which was acquired in 2014. He launched Tasman in Amsterdam in 2016.


Sophie O'Connor

Global Recruiting Lead, Europe

Sophie started her career in EHR implementation services at Epic in 2015, working with U.S. hospitals in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and New Jersey. She continued her career in the political sphere in Wisconsin, working on campaign fundraising, IT planning, communications and marketing, event planning, and outreach.

After moving to the Netherlands in 2019, Sophie joined international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global, which Nordic acquired in 2020. At Tasman, she was a global talent specialist and one of Tasman’s early team members, leveraging her Epic knowledge and experience with outreach and communication. She worked alongside the founding team members to expand the EHR consulting model across Europe and the UK and make deep connections with local talent in the European market.

After her move back to the U.S. in 2021, she transitioned into the role of Global Recruiting Lead for Europe, overseeing the international recruiting strategy, team management, and day-to-day recruiting work. She aims to expand opportunities for Nordic consultants and candidates internationally.

Sophie has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin.


Jo Smith

Healthcare Advisory Services Leader, Europe and Middle East

Jo has 30 years of global healthcare industry experience as both a practitioner and consultant that includes senior leadership roles in the UK NHS and work providing healthcare advisory services and solutions in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America, and the U.S. She is a trusted advisor to internal and client leadership teams and has successfully created new sector and practice structures and teams leading to significant business growth.

She serves as the Healthcare Advisory Services leader for Europe and the Middle East, offering a range of advisory and IT implementation solutions for global clients, including advice and counsel related to digital health system implementation benefits realisation; clinical, operational and financial performance optimisation; and health system integration and sustainability.

Jo joined Nordic after its 2020 acquisition of international healthcare technology consultancy Tasman Global, where she was head of Healthcare Advisory Services. Prior, she developed the global health businesses of several professional service firms. She spent nearly 10 years at EY, focused on developing and delivering its global health business as the global health performance optimisation solution lead. Before EY, she was a managing consultant at Mott MacDonald Health in the UK, responsible for identifying, pursuing, and delivering business opportunities, and she also worked for several UK NHS organisations.

She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University College London.
