Nordic named one of nation's best companies for women

MADISON, Wis. Nordic has been named to Comparably’s list of the nation’s top 50 Best Companies for Women, which was released Thursday. The list was compiled from anonymous ratings submitted by employees identifying as female over the past 12 months. This marks Nordic's first year on the list, for which over 50,000 U.S. companies were eligible.

“Nordic’s culture and one of our maxims, ‘Be you,’ promote individualism, which allows each person to define their own personal success,” said Shannon Yasseri, Managing Director of Nordic’s Revenue Cycle Transformation Practice. “For me, success as a woman is balancing the demands as a career-oriented leader, wife, and mother of two, while making a difference for the healthcare organizations we serve. I also see how Nordic recognizes many life paths and is adaptable to create opportunities for various life circumstances, making it a great place to foster both career and life ambitions.”

Among the benefits and perks for Nordic employees are flexible hours and results-based paid time off, which are especially beneficial for working mothers. Nordic’s home office also features three fully furnished, comfortable wellness rooms that accommodate nursing mothers.

Earlier this week, Nordic was included on Comparably’s list of the top 50 company cultures. In the past year, Nordic has also received recognition from Comparably for having one of the brightest company outlooks, the best company leadership, the best company for work-life balance, and one of the best CEOs for diversity.

Also this year, Nordic has been named the Best Place to Work in Madison, ranked No. 4 on Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare, and ranked in the top 10 on Consulting Magazine’s 2019 Best Firms to Work For.
